What is ADSL as per ADaM standard?

This post is part of 'ADaM | ADSL' series

ADSL stands for Subject-Level Analysis Dataset. It is a standard dataset structure specified by ADaM, and has a record structure of one record per clinical trial subject irrespective of the study design.

ADSL contains variables such as

  • subject-level population flags,
  • planned and actual treatment variables
  • demographic information
  • subgroup variables
  • important dates etc
